Lucky Leprechaun Giveaway Hop
Angie Chapman was thirteen years old when she ventured into the woods alone on a Girl Scouts camping trip. Now she's returned home…only to find that it's three years later and she's sixteen-or at least that's what everyone tells her.
What happened to the past three years of her life?
Angie doesn't know.
But there are people who do—people who could tell Angie every detail of her forgotten time, if only they weren't locked inside her mind. With a tremendous amount of courage, Angie embarks on a journey to discover the fragments of her personality, otherwise known as her "alters." As she unearths more and more about her past, she discovers a terrifying secret and must decide: When you remember things you wish you could forget, do you destroy the parts of yourself that are responsible?
Liz Coley's alarming and fascinating psychological mystery is a disturbing-and ultimately empowering-page-turner about accepting our whole selves, and the healing power of courage, hope, and love.
And now, The Giveaways.
1 Winner will receive an ARC copy of Pretty Girl-13 by Liz Coley.
Improve for me. I want a better tomorrow for my kids.
ReplyDeleteImprove with me however; even if you improve you have to appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteWell I would think you'd need an element of both. If you try to improve the world, you won't know when to stop unless you can appreciate how it has changed.
ReplyDeletei think you need to do both.
ReplyDeleteI think it is both. You need to appreciate what we have in the world now, but we also have work to improve it for future generations.

Improve so you can appreciate!!!
ReplyDeletei think you need both
ReplyDeleteImprove so you can appreciate. We plant flowers so they can grow into beautiful plants and make the garden pretty and smell nice. We improve it so we can appreciate the results of it, If we didn't plant anything we'd just be looking at a patch of dirt. If we didn't improve anything in our world or life, we'd just be at a stand still. Improvement can be many things, not just physical things and appearances.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!! :)
Improve :)
ReplyDeleteAppreciate while trying to improve :)
ReplyDeleteIf I had to pick one it would be improve, but I feel llike you can't really have either without having at least a little of the other. In order to appreciate, you must want to improve. In order to improve, you must have an appreciation for it.
ReplyDeleteI think it is more worthwhile to appreciate the world. It is always good to be appreciative of what you have and not what you wish you had.
ReplyDelete(Cuanam Wolfspirit) Both in my opinion. You can appreciate what the world has and at the same time try to improve and fix things so that future generations can appreciate it too
ReplyDeleteImprove the world for future generations.
ReplyDeleteTo improve so u can apprecate!!!!
ReplyDeleteto improve the world
ReplyDeleteI think to improve it!

Appreciate while trying to improve. But should be both.
ReplyDeleteBoth
ReplyDeleteStart by appreciating the world. When you appreciate the world, you will see the beauty in everything and you will find that there are ways to improve things in order for these beautiful things to be multiplied and shared to those who are lacking.
ReplyDeleteYou have to do both, you can't improve the world if you don't genuinely appreciate it. If that makes sense haha

improve
ReplyDeleteAppreciate, I think.
ReplyDeleteI'd go with improving the world because there's a few things that I really dislike bout this world right now..
ReplyDeleteI think, if you have the ability to change the world for the better, then you most certainly should do so, but if there are no resources available for you to make a difference, then appreciating the world as it is, is perfectly acceptable. Everyone should appreciate the fact that we all have been given the opportunity to live.
ReplyDeleteImprove in order to appreciate more. :)
ReplyDeleteImprove. There is so much to be done!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

If you don't improve the world there will be nothing left to enjoy! IMO we need to focus on improving our conservation efforts.
ReplyDeleteThanks =D
Gosh. Both, really. What good is improving the world if you don't stop to appreciate it? And what is there to appreciate if we let the world fall to ruin?
ReplyDeleteBoth. Improve to appreciate and help others appreciate it! :-)
ReplyDeleteI think you need to do both
ReplyDeleteI think a balance of both is important;)
ReplyDeleteI think both are worthwhile and satisfying, but I think we need to Improve the world first so then we can appreciate what we accomplished. Thank you so much for a chance to win and for being a part of this fun and awesome blog hop!!
ReplyDeletei think you need both
ReplyDeleteA bit of both I think.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to do both.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to do a little bit of both. We have to think of future generations right?
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be a balance. We can't be so focused on improving that we forget to stop and appreciate what we already have.
ReplyDeleteYou need to improve it and appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway :)
I think it's best to do both. If you can't appreciate what the world is, how can you appreciate what it will be once it's improved?
ReplyDeleteI definitely feel appreciate it is the key, with appreciation comes doing for the betterment. Thank you for participating in this fun hop :)
ReplyDeleteI think you need to improve :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway :)
I`d say 50:50 because in my opinion you can`t improve world if you don`t appreciate it and you can`t appreciate the world if you don`t improve it.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
I'd say it's easier to appreciate the world for what it is than to improve it.
ReplyDeleteappreciate the world for me
ReplyDeleteA little of both I think. It is nice to improve but we also need to appreciate what we already have too
ReplyDeleteA little of both ! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for this amazing giveaway !
You need both
ReplyDeleteBoth are important but because I am not a writer, appreciating the word is very important to me.
ReplyDeletebothm I think!

ReplyDeleteIt would be great to win an ARC copy of Pretty Girl-13 by Liz Coley.
In response to your question of
It is more worthwhile and satisfying to improve the world or appreciate the world?
I think it's best to do both. If you can't appreciate what the world is, how can you appreciate what it will be once it's improved?
Thank you for having this giveaway!!!!!!!
Honestly, I think it's both. I'd love to help improve the world, since it's just very satisfying to feel a part of something bigger (cheesy, isn't it?), but sitting back and seeing what you and others have done is equally as great.
ReplyDeleteboth !!!
ReplyDeletei believe yin and yang ;)
Both! If you appreciate the world, you will try to improve it!! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteImproving the world is more satisfying and then appreciate it afterwards!
ReplyDeleteImprove it, of course!! So that others can appreciate it later as well:)
