Now she’s out and determined to uncover who put her in that cellar and why.
When Clementine was a child, dangerous and inexplicable things started happening in New South Bend. The townsfolk blamed the fiendish people out in the Willows and burned their homes to the ground. But magic kept Clementine alive, walled up in the cellar for ten years, until a boy named Fisher sets her free. Back in the world, Clementine sets out to discover what happened all those years ago. But the truth gets muddled in her dangerous attraction to Fisher, the politics of New South Bend, and the Hollow, a fickle and terrifying place that seems increasingly temperamental ever since Clementine reemerged.

I'd have to say my most embarrassing moment...is not one I'm willing to talk about, lol! Like it's that bad. In general embarrassing moments, is when I trip on something. That's always a dumb moment. Anyhoo, I think Fiendish sounds fantastic- and that cover! Lurve!
ReplyDeleteI would say getting caught making a prank call to the guy I liked in high school
ReplyDeleteAt my age, all those moments are just a blur in my mind!! I use to be bad about falling UP things instead of down things.
ReplyDeleteMost embarrassing moment huh? Hmm ... I think it would be that time in High School when I was going out for a walk with a good friend. We were passing an area with a lot of chairs and a lot of people and I walked straight into the glass door! Not just a little but BANG!

ReplyDeleteJust ONE! Ha! There have been many embarrassing moments in my life. And when I say many, I mean probably monthly for all of my 32 years! I will give you an old one that I can actually laugh about now! When I was in 8th grade, our class had a field trip to the high school that we would be attending the following year. I forgot my glasses that morning at home, and without them I am blind as a bat. My mom couldn't get them to me until after the trip, so I was walking blindly. When we were walking into the school, I ran face first into a huge metal pole in front of probably 200 hgh school kids. I was so embarrassed. Ugh! Now, It is funny, but then not so much! Thanks so much for the fantastic giveaway! Keeping my fingers crossed!
