Praise for THE BOOGIE TRAPP
"Kerry Copeland Smith delivers an hysterically funny (and tragically horrific) tale through two unique boys in his debut novel. His command of the English language boiled down to genuine and relatable dialogue, a gift by only those who have the ability to tell the epic story "The Boogie Trapp". The world of writers need to learn from his gift as much as the universe of readers needs the satisfaction of consuming yet another great read! Congratulations Mr. Smith" ―Feathered Quill Book Reviews
"Something happened to two boys over sixty years ago and now it's time to write the book, Boogie Smith promised his friend Trapp he would pen if Trapp died before Boogie. Trapp, wanting to be sure their story would be told after sixty years of silence, wrote Boogie just before his death to remind him of the promise they had made so many years before.
The Boogie Trapp is a thriller that keeps the pages turning. Hard to put down. And it is a first novel that shows no signs of a first novelist." ―Bookloons review

When things weren’t right and the going was tough, I called on Boogie and things got straightened out!” Brewer is also an accomplished artist. His paintings hang in numerous homes throughout the south. He currently lives in Tampa, Florida with his wife Tammie and their three cats. He has two sons (from a previous marriage), three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
