Joseph Michael "Joey" Richter is a current member of Team StarKid best known for playing Ron Weasley in A Very Potter Musical. His latest StarKid role was playing Grunt in Firebringer. He grew up in an Orange County, California town called Laguna Niguel.
He is well-known for his crooked jaw, which was made fun of when he played a fictionalized version of himself in Me and My Dick.
He is very close with Starkid co-founder Darren Criss, they were roommates, but Joey is currently roommates with Brian Rosenthal. Joey has a YouTube channel with Brian Rosenthal and Corey Lubowich called Tin Can Bros. Also starred in a YouTube web series with Joseph Walker called Tasty Tests promoting Red Vines. In 'Camp Chapel', an independent short film, he played the lead of Alex Wilcott. He will play Themba in the upcoming animated film Khumba.
He guest starred as Officer Petey (a minor recurring role) on the Disney Channel Show "Jessie" (Episodes: Badfellas, Cattle Calls and Scary Walls, Green Eyed Monster, and Pain in the Rear Window). He later announced that it will be a reccuring role.
He was an extra in the glee episode "Sadie Hawkins" as a member of NYADA's glee club, Adam’s Apples, along with Tessa Netting
He also plays the role of Theon Greyjoy in the webseries School of Thrones.
Richter starred in a BuzzFeed short film "If Men Got Pregnant," which saw him appear as now-BuzzFeed producer Devin Lytle'spregnant husband (most likely an intentional casting).

The legendary Ricardo Montalban Theatre in Hollywood will play host to the one day event where top creators will screen exclusive video premieres, take questions, and discuss the challenges and opportunities facing today’s Content Creator.
The day’s festivities will begin with Buffer Festival’s “Insight Series” featuring inspirational talks from some of the world’s leading Creators and industry innovators. This special program will be aimed towards the entertainment industry, aspiring Creators, and anyone who wants to learn from the Creators’ unique perspective. This will be followed by the famous Buffer Festival Red Carpet, where media and attendees will have the opportunity to interact and ask their favorite Content-Makers questions as they arrive for the evening Gala consisting of screenings and live entertainment.

Buffer Festival L.A.’s Insight Series aims to bring together creators and industry executives to openly discuss challenges in collaborating.
