Anthony recently completed his duties as co-executive producer of the second season of Ron Howard and Brian Grazer’s premier documentary series Breakthrough, where he oversaw creative development, researched hundreds of developing science stories and personally wrote over 30 of the show’s 45+ four to six page story treatments. He then wrote and produced one of the six chosen episodes (“A Game of Drones”) in full, and served as an uncredited co-director. While shooting the episode, he was granted intimate access to the US Navy, the US Airforce, the MITRE corporation and numerous high profile Washington D.C. tech oriented think tanks. Prior to this, he wrote, produced, and worked as the singular director (uncredited) on Breakthrough season one, episode 106: “Energy from the Edge.”
Prior to Breakthrough, Anthony completed his sixth season on hit series Through The Wormhole: With Morgan Freeman for Revelations Entertainment / The Science Channel. In addition to executing his specific episodes, Anthony oversaw series wide development of all season 5 and season 6 episodes. In 2014, he and his fellow producers picked up their 3rd Emmy Nomination for outstanding non-fiction series. In 2012, he was personally nominated for an Emmy Award for his producing work on episode 206: “Is There An Edge to The Universe?”
He graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts in 2007, where he studied film production and physics. He resides in Los Angeles, CA, with a cuddly shit-head named Benedict Cumbercat.

Even worse, the popular culture still thinks that science belongs to socially awkward, white male jargon-robots aloof of the human experience. The reality is the opposite: According to Pew, scientists and science lovers come from all walks of life and backgrounds. In fact, they are just as likely to be politically conservative as liberal! What could be more unifying? What could be more worth celebrating? SCIENCE IS FOR ALL OF US!
Our way of life - our very future - depends on a new generation of science acolytes and scientists, no matter who they are or where they come from, to bear the torch.
But where will we find them if the trend of disinterest continues?

But, we’re also two creative professionals that have devoted our careers to creating far-reaching original music and documentary films that share the emotions and ideas that we feel make life unquestionably beautiful and meaningful.

Think of that awesome feeling you have when you’re sitting in a movie theater watching an incredible, life-affirming story as told by folks at Pixar, or when you hear an unforgettable TED talk that changes how you see the world, or when you see a live musical performance that makes you jump to your feet, like Hamilton. A Light in the Void is our sincere attempt to capture that magic... for Science!
