I have enjoyed every Halloween that my three kids have had. I trick or treated up to my senior year and then with all my kids. I love Halloween. Even ones when we lived in Alaska and truck or treated in the snow. Thank you for this wonderful chance

ReplyDeleteOne year I worked for a magazine distributor and was able to give out comic books as treats. I was the most popular house on the block!

ReplyDeleteI remember the year my best friend and I dressed up as grapes. It was a fun costume and we got so many compliments! We piled on the purple balloons and made green felt hats for the leaves. Those costumes were so much fun and we won first place at our local Fireman's carnival. Thanks for the super giveaway opportunity.

ReplyDeleteI was helping my aunt pass out candy. She came outside with a huge bowl and tripped and the bowl of candy went flying through the air almost in slow motion. Thats how I remember it. It was so funny!

After my parents got their fill of taking us door to door the older kids, 8-12ish or so, would go out and hit up the last few houses that would just leave the remaining candy out on the porch. That was so much fun. We thought we were unsupervised but the whole neighborhood was watching over us hahaha!

ReplyDeleteMy favourite memory was the first time I took my (then) 2 year son trick-or-treating. He was so impressed, with everything. It's still his favourite day (and he's 41).
